Ruth Vinyard Oben, B.S.N., became a MammaCare
Specialist on January 14, 1999. Ruth is a Study Coordinator for oncology prevention and
treatment trials at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She will be
using MammaCare extensively in an upcoming breast cancer prevention STAR trial
sponsored by the NSABP evaluating Tamoxifen and Raloxifene. This will require her to
perform semi-annual MammaCare Clinical Breast Exams on all participating patients. In her spare time, Ruth recently got married and now
assists her husband in assembling and racing 1965 Cobra replicas. |
