Laura
J. Umbrell, L.P.N., also became a Specialist on
November 19, 1998. Laura works as a staff nurse and the marketing and public
relations coordinator for South Central Surgical Associates of Chambersburg, Pa.
This organization also operates a Breast Center and a major focus of Laura's work
concerns the patients of this facility as well as community outreach. Laura will now
teach MammaCare to the patients of the Center and will be in a better position to educate
the members of the community concerning proficient breast self-examination. Laura particularly enjoys activities with her family,
both indoors and outdoors. She states, "Nothing is more relaxing than a hot cup
of tea with a bag of M&M candies and the new issue of the Smithsonian Magazine." |
