Albina R. Turner, B.S.N., received her MammaCare Specialist Certificate on March 23, 1999. Albina is
the Clinical Coordinator of the Patient Navigator Project of the Truman Medical Center in
Kansas City, Mo. Her role is to help underserved patients diagnosed with either
breast or cervical cancer to deal with the complexities of the health care system.
She will be teaching MammaCare to medical students and other nurses as well as to her own
patients. Albina is married and has three grown
children. She enjoys gardening, quilting, reading, and shopping. |
