Mary Sladek, R.N.,
O.C.N., C.R.N.I., is the coordinator for Breast and
Gynecological Cancer clinical research trials at Albert Einstein Medical Center in
Philadelphia. She is also coordinator for the Breast Cancer Prevention Trials. She became
a MammaCare Specialist on January 27, 2000. She primarily uses MammaCare with
prevention trial participants, teaching them to conduct their own self-examinations. She
is also working to introduce MammaCare to the outreach program.
Mary is the single mother of 3 daughters, two of whom are
teenagers. She has recently returned to college on a part time basis to pursue her BSN. In
her spare time, she decorates cakes. |
