Nadra C. Spence, R.N., a team leader
and charge nurse employed by Winn Army Community of Ft. Stewart, GA,
received her MammaCare Specialist’s pin on August 9, 2007. Her duties
are many and varied as her patients present the full range of medical
problems. Her organization is starting a nurse-managed clinic for
patients about to undergo mammography. Nadra will conduct MammaCare
Clinical Breast Examinations on these patients, then, as the load
increases, teach the technique to other nurses and nurse practitioners.
Nadra is married and has two daughters. She is an avid reader and power
walker, walking at least three miles several times a week.
