Ruth Lerman, M.D. ,
Staff Physician at the William Beaumont
Breast Care Center in Royal Oak, MI, became a MammaCare Specialist on January 28, 2005.
Ruth evaluates breast abnormalities in patients with palpable lumps but negative imaging.
She also does long term follow-up with breast cancer patients, teaches ob-gyn and surgical
residents, and teaches BSE in the community. She will use MammaCare in all of these
activities, especially those involving teaching.
Ruth is a member of the American Society
of Breast Disease, Society for Integrative Oncology and is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine. She has a special interest and training in mind/body medicine. |
