Maria L. Freeman, M.D., of the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, became certified as a MammaCare Specialist on December 6, 2001. Maria provides the full range of women's medical services to Native women in the region. She will be responsible for insuring the MammaCare training of other health care providers in Alaska.
