MammaCare Combination Teaching Model

The Combination Teaching Model is a basic MammaCare breast model used to teach proficient breast self-examination (BSE) and proficient clinical breast examination (CBE). The transparent model is a tactually accurate, hemispheric, polymer breast simulation. It contains an internal membrane, dividing the contents into two equal parts. One part of the model simulates nodularity-free breast tissue, the other part simulates nodularity and granularity.

The teaching model contains lumps closely simulating the tactile properties of a range of breast lesions of varying size, hardness and movability. Lump sizes range from 3 mm to 10 mm.
