MammaCare is widely recognized as the world's most comprehensive system for teaching manual examination of the breast. The MammaCare method of CBE provides the tactile training needed to enhance sensitivity of the clinician's fingers. MammaCare-trained fingers have discovered breast lesions as small as 3 mm. 

MammaCare teaches a palpation and search procedure designed to ensure contact of the trained fingers with every cubic millimeter of breast tissue. The result is a clinical breast examination that meets the needs of today's practitioners.
 
The MammaCare Clinical Learning System includes:

• A transparent breast model to teach the difference between the feel of normal, nodular breast tissue and the feel of small lesions.
• Two tactually accurate opaque breast models that contain small, simulated tumors surrounded by complex nodularity. They are used to refine palpation and search techniques. One simulates soft breast tissue; the other simulates firm breast tissue.
• A 55-minute DVD that guides the clinician through step-by-step exercises, first on the models and then on breast tissue. The instructional video includes special attention to patient positioning techniques to maximize the thoroughness of the examination.
