Evidence and Skill-Based Training: Certification for Your Staff

The MammaCare Method is the recognized standard for performing and teaching manual breast examination. MammaCare certification assures that the professional has met MammaCare's rigorous standards for proficient, skill-based breast examination. The courses are offered to nurses, physicians, radiologic technicians and health educators.  Continuing education contact hours are available.

Clinical Breast Exam (CBE) skills are achieved, measured and recorded using tactually accurate breast models and surrogate patients. As the trainee's proficiency increases, the gains in performance qualtity and thoroughness are directly monitored using MammaCare's Proficiency Evaluation Lamp. Certification demonstrates that the trainee's clinical skills meet published standards of sensitivity and specificity.  

MammaCare offers three certification courses: Certified MammaCare Specialist Training Program, Certified MammaCare Clinical Breast Examiner Training Course and Certified MammaCare BSE Instructor Course. Certifications are valid for three years.
