|
Beginning January 2003, The Mammatech Corporation, parent company of MammaCare, partnered with the University of Florida College of Nursing to train health-care professionals and patients in the MammaCare Method of Breast Examination. The UF College of Nursing's new building is the site for the training center. Charlene Krueger, PhD, ARNP, Anna Kelley, MSN, ARNP, and Carmen Rodrigues, PhD, ARNP, teach the classes in the college's new state-of-the-art skills laboratory. They offer several levels of training including a 3-day course to train health professionals as Certified MammaCare Specialists and a 1½-day course to train clinicians to perform MammaCare Clinical Breast Examinations in their practices. "We are excited about this new affiliation. It opens new doors, bringing the benefits of MammaCare to even more women," said H. S. Pennypacker, CEO of the Mammatech Corporation.
