The Certified MammaCare Clinical Breast Examiner Training Course is available to women's healthcare professionals from around the world. The Clinical Breast Examiner Training Course is a two-day training program that is conducted with one or two trainees.
MammaCare-trained fingers have discovered breast lesions as small as 3mm. Certification is valid for three years.
The MammaCare Method of Clinical Breast Examination provides the tactile training needed to enhance sensitivity of the clinician's fingers. The MammaCare Method involves a palpation and search procedure that is designed to ensure contact of the trained fingers with every cubic millimeter of breast tissue. Breast tissue coverage is documented by observing and recording examination performance using the MammaCare Proficiency Evaluation Lamp.
The trainee learns standardized breast examination skills, first on tactually accurate MammaCare breast models and then on breast tissue. Trainees develop the skill to detect accurately and reliably small simulated lesions and to meet performance criteria measured on a standardized series of breast models and breast tissue.
The course fee includes a MammaCare Clinical Practice System. Continuing education contact hours are available.
