MammaCare is the recognized medical and scientific standard for performing and teaching manual breast examination. MammaCare Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) and Breast Self-Examination (BSE) significantly increase examination sensitivity, specificity and breast tissue coverage.

The tactually accurate breast models and empirically validated training were developed by MammaCare with the support of the National Cancer Institute to improve the tactile skills needed to detect and distinguish suspicious lesions from normal nodular breast tissue.
